ICL Surgery — Vision Correction Beyond LASIK
ICL or Implantable Collamer Lens surgery is a spectacle-removal procedure suitable for people with high refractive error or those not eligible for LASIK.
Unlike LASIK, ICL does not reshape the cornea. A thin, biocompatible lens is placed inside the eye in front of the natural lens. The procedure is reversible in principle and offers excellent visual quality.
At The OrthoVision Clinic, Dr. Komal Singh evaluates corneal thickness, anterior chamber depth and retinal health before recommending ICL. Patients with stable power and healthy eyes can achieve freedom from thick glasses.
Recovery is typically quick with minimal discomfort. Regular follow-up ensures long-term eye health. If you have been told LASIK is not suitable, ICL may be the right option — book a consultation at our Gomti Nagar or Sultanpur Road centre.
